This is a picture of my mum and I before the race. (We looked worse for wear afterwards) It was held on a lovely hot sunny day in July, we took the family (Both old and young) and made a day of it.
I don't think I have ever seen so many women together for one cause. We were running and walking together and supporting each other. The race took us about 45 minutes to complete and after that we got our participants medals and had a well earned rest (Along with some retail therapy) 
We made over £200 last year and we would really like to better it this year.
