As a North East Euro-MP, I'm part of the MAC (MEPs Against Cancer) group, which is lobbying the European Parliament to take direct action against inequalities in cancer control. Better regulations and shared knowledge will benefit cancer patients here in the North East.
As a charity, Cancer Research UK relies overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue it's life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.
