The girls at Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre are taking part to help raise money for Cancer Research.
We all know someone who has/had cancer & feel there is nothing we can do to help, if we all get together and raise money for research one day we can beat it.
I currently have a friend in hospital who is undergoing treatment. She has brain tumours and undergoing operations & speech therapy to recover then the process will start again in six months to remove everything. Its upsetting when you have a friend that needs your help but feel there is nothing you can do, this is me doing something.

My Auntie passed away 10 years ago & it still feels like yesterday. My aunt was a nurse in the army when she was younger, I always saw her as a rock, strong, confident, she was always happy & smiley. they always say that the best ones go 1st, in this case its true.

Im doing race for life in memory of my mum, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and she passed away over 10 years ago & is missed every day.
