Hello,

Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my page, it means a lot.

Right a quick explanation as to why I have signed up to 'Race for Life', unfortunately my Grandad, Sid Elliott, died on the 16th of February this year after bravely battling cancer for 3 years, so this is in his memory.  Also it would have been his 80th birthday on the 3rd of June, which is 4 days before the event so it is to celebrate that aswell.

I am also raising money in memory of another loved one, Mick Branch, who passed away from cancer in August 2005 but is still very much in our thoughts.

In this day and age it is so hard to believe how cancer still remains so deadly and causes so much heartache.  It is something I feel very strongly about and this is why I am dedicated to raise as much as I can by doing this race to help out maybe even in the smallest way.

I will be very grateful if you can sponsor me, even if it is only the smallest amount, every little helps.

Together we WILL beat cancer!!
