Alison and Vanessa have been school friends since the age of 4 and 5 and come from the same teeny village in Wales.
Vanessa is now a teacher at Glyncoed Comprehensive School in Ebbw Vale and Alison is a web designer who runs www.daffodil-design.com. Alison will be 5 months pregnant and will be walking but Vanessa will be aiming to complete the course in a very good time.
