My reason for taking part in the Race for Life this year is because my future mother in law has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Knowing someone with cancer really puts things into perspective and makes you look at life in a completely different way.
I have always known Dennis' mum to be such a strong lady and to see her knocked down with this disease is heartbreaking.
I just hope that any money I can raise can go a little way to helping other people fight this dreadful disease.
