Well, we did it!!!
We arrived at Epsom Race Course nice and early, 4500 women were taking part in todays race for life and the hills at epsom were a sea of pink! Prior to starting we had a minutes silence, it was very emotional. Many runners around us were running for a loved one and we could hear how upseting it was for lots them. Clare, Jo. Pip and I felt very humble!
The course was hard! Very hilly, lumpy and bumby. We split up and beelined for the finish line!
We had some supporters cheeering us on at varying stages of the course, which jelped loads! So thank you, Jamie, Lucas, Lee, Dad, Jon, Brendan, Yasmin and Dylan!
We are all very proud to be wearing our medals and to of done something that is so worth while. Well done to all the thousands of women that competed today.
I am sure you will all be pleased to hear we have already booked up our next one (5k, Hyde Park, Womens Addidas Challenge - Sept 7th 2008).
Finally, thank you to everyone that sponsored us, we have exceeded what we hoped to achieve. Pip's company is also very generously donating 1/3 of whatever we had rasied, which will take us very close to the £2000 target we originally set. Its not too late to sponsor if you havent already, deadline is 13th July.

Thank you!
