OVARIAN CANCER ........... IT WHISPERS, SO LISTEN .....
UNTIL THERE'S A TEST, AWARENESS IS BEST................

Annette and Tracey met in February 2006 in an internet chatroom, desperately looking for answers as to the devastating Ovarian Cancer that both of their mothers had been fighting. Linda and Irene battled this awful disease for 9 and 19 months respectively. Great comfort was gained by both of them knowing about eachother; that they weren't alone in this nightmare, and also from the friendship and support that was developing between their daughters. Linda and Irene died within 3 weeks of eachother, leaving both families totally devastated. They died knowing how much they were loved and knowing of the thousands of pounds family and friends had donated in their name to "Race For Life 2006". Please help in the fight against Cancer. Its' random path leaves destruction and devastation in the most castastrophic of ways. Shock makes way for bewilderment and emptiness.
Annette and Tracey continue to Race For Life in memory of their Mothers.

20.02.07 Thank you for visiting our 2nd Race For Life Fundraising webpage, and thank you to everyone who helped us raise over £6000 last year. We said we'd do it again, and here we are! It is as important this year, as it was last year, for us to continue raising funds and awareness to the tragedy that is Cancer; for us, Ovarian Cancer especially. Nearly 12 months has passed since our mothers lost their brave battles to Ovarian Cancer, and with anniversarys drawing closer, we thought now might be a good time to start our campaign for 2007. Its been an emotional year for both of us, but we're getting through together slowly. Andrew and I would like to again send our love and best wishes to Tracey, who married Gary Paddison on 5th January this year, love to both of you!
