Cancer research does not only help people with cancer and I am living proof of this.

4 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and had major surgery. Despite this my condition got worse and worse and I had no hope.

Then I met a new consultant who wanted to try a new medication which is a type of chemotherapy.

After 7 months of this treatment and a liquid only diet I was improving everyday.

Those of you who know me well will know that I am not doing so well at the moment but I still want to do this race, if it takes me a whole day to walk it.

Even if you don't know me and were sent this link by a friend - please help, and pass the link on yourself.

Please give a donation to help the work of Cancer Research UK to continue. Many of my friends, and I am sure yours too, have been affected by cancer, the statistics show that 1 in 3 of us will be touched by it in our lifetimes.
