Thank you so much for visiting my sponsorship page.  PLEASE help me to thank the people who work very hard at Cancer Research UK.

Cancer research does not only help people with cancer and I am living proof of this.

4 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and had major surgery.  Despite this my condition got worse and worse and I had no hope.

Then I met a new consultant who wanted to try a new medication which is a type of chemotherapy. 

After 7 months of this treatment and a liquid only diet I was improving everyday.

Those of you who know me well will know that I am not doing so well at the moment but I still want to do this race, if it takes me a whole day to walk it.

Even if you don't know me and were sent this link by a friend - please help, and pass the link on yourself.

Please give a donation to help the work of Cancer Research UK to continue. Many of my friends, and I am sure yours too, have been affected by cancer, the statistics show that 1 in 3 of us will be touched by it in our lifetimes.  With your help, and my walking shoes we can make that statistic a thing of the past.
