We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am running the race for life in memory for my dad, douglas young, who died in 1998 of cancer. My dad was a great guy who made time for anyone, a self employed gardener who always put his family first. Dad loved darts and playing pool, he loved the beachgrove garden and a tin of caffreys. I miss him so much!

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.
