Jess and I did the race in 2005 in the pouring rain - we're hoping for better weather this year!  Maybe Millie joining us this year will bring the sun!

We are doing this race for two reasons - firstly in memory of Nick's mum and my grandmother, both of whom we lost to cancer.  Secondly, we are doing it so that, research into the disease may continue and if, God forbid, another person close to me (or even myself) gets it, there may be a greater chance of a cure.

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.
