This is my sister Lorraine and myself at last years race, this was a very emotional time for us as she has battled with cancer for the last 6 years and has been too unwell to do it in the past.  She was released from hospital just 3 days before this race so it was a great acheivement for her to finish and needless to say we both had tears streaming down our face when she crossed the finishing line.

Unfortunalty she has another tumour and we dont know if she will be well enough to participate in this years race.

I am doing race for life so that I can have more moments like this with my big sister and so that many others can have them too with their loved ones.
