The kids - Shannon Day, Chloe Segal and Lauren have begged us to join us again this year in the race for life, so myself and Elaine are taking the team to Cleesthorpes to try and do our bit for cancer research.

This year is a difficult one for us, with my step father Jon having been told this week he has cancer of the kidneys and Uncle Dennis having treatment for Tongue Cancer,  it is very close to us all. We cherish the times that we have with Sally (Mum/Nanna), Diana (Good Friend) and Aunty Sue who have survived cancer.  We will be doing it for the loved ones we have lost as this March 2008 marks two years since cancer took away Carol, loving mother and grandmother to Shannon and Kayleigh.
