Sunday saw me very red in the face, very out of puff, but very pleased I DID IT!!! Can I suggest to the organisers that next year, they place a Powder Puff station at the 500m-to-go mark so that us ladies can take off the shine and apply a bit of lippy before turning the final corner and meeting our public? A big thank you to everyone who sponsored me and if you've been saving up and waiting until I actually got round the course, then now's your chance :-)
