Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. I have ran the Race for Life a few times now but this year is a little more important as it is part of my 2010 challenge of running '40 miles before I am 40! www.40miles.co.uk.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and unfortunately every year that I take part in this amazing race I seem so run for someone else. I never thought however, this year I would be running for my Dad.
My dad was recently diagnised with prostate cancer and although the prognosis is good, it has has been a very scary few months. For this reason I want to raise more money than ever for Cancer Research and so, I have challenged myself to not only run the usual 5km but also take part in the new 10km race just before.
I know I ran the marathon this year my body is still recovering from the shock and running since hsa been hard - so believe me, these two races will be a real challenge!
