Emma:
This is my 5th race for life in memory of my mum's friend, Diane, who sadly died at a young age from stomach cancer.
Taking part in race for life is great fun, I really enjoy them, not only is it an opportunity to raise money for a good cause but the feeling you get when you cross the finish line is amazing. When you take part in the race and you see people's notes on their backs to show who they're racing for, all the family and friends people have lost, it makes you feel really proud to take part.
Race for life events are an important way in which Cancer Research is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer and by sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.
Donating through this site is simple and secure. It's also the most efficient as Cancer Research will receive your money faster and, If you are a UK tax payer, please tick the gift aid box as Cancer Research get an extra 28% per donation and it doesn't cost you anything extra.
Wish me luck on the day!!
Emma xx
Thank you to my offline donators:
