I DID IT! 40mins and 9secs!
The photos my housemate took are here (The more observant of you may notice that the time on the finish clock says 45mins and 9 secs, but there were so many people taking part that I didn't get to the start line until after 5 minutes!)
Thank you to all of you for your incredibly generous donations. I really spurred me on.
Even quicker next year!

There are many people in my family who've been affected by cancer. Some have survived. Too many didn't. Cancer Research can change those odds.
I'll be running in memory of by grandmother, Gladys Twigger, who I still miss.
Those of you who know me well know that I've been a smoker for 13 years. As part of training for this run, I have already given up smoking.
I've also actually started jogging, and my aim this year is to jog all the way around without stopping.
So please bear that in mind when donating. It'll be a great incentive, and will let me know that people believe I can do it.
