Thank you for visiting our Race for Life sponsorship page.

*****UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE*****

Wow!   We got to £400, then we got to £500!  This means that Jennifer will also ask for your suggestions for dressing up for the Race.   The more outlandish the better!   Eileen and Jennifer are very shy and retiring girls, so this will be a biggie for them!

AND............

If we hit our new target of £600, Sarah will also make a fool of herself on the day!   Give us your ideas - we want to make a splash on the 22nd May!

*****Less than three weeks to go and we're getting ever closer to our target for the Race for Life!  If we exceed it, Eileen has pledged to do it dressed up (suggestions welcome! But only after you donate).   (If you gift aid a £5 donation, Cancer Research UK get £6.41!)  She's already had her first suggestions - a bumblebee or Lady Godiva??? Think you've got a better suggestion?  Then let us know!*****

Latest is Eileen as a Smurf!  Now this I would like to see....

We've each been touched by cancer in some shape or form, and would be eternally grateful if you could find your way to donating a few pounds.

We've called ourselves 'The Goldie Girls' because Fiona and Isobel's Mum and Valerie's Mum were sisters, and their maiden name was Goldie.   Eileen, Jennifer and Sarah are Fiona's daughters, and Kirsty is married to her son.   So the name Goldie is one that encompasses each one of us.   Actually the other reason is that Isobel has always fancied herself as Dorothy from The Golden Girls but had problems with the height aspect - not many people know that.

That's Eileen, Jennifer, Sarah and Isobel up there after they finished last year's Race for Life.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us now you can help more people survive cancer..

Gift Aid it!.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you..

Every pound you donate really does make a difference – so please sponsor us now!.

Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer.
