We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Our personal message:

As many of you will know I am a cancer research scientist. This year I've got together with my Mum (Christine), sister (Siobhan), sister-in-law (Clare) and 6 year old daughter (Aeryn) to give something back by entering the Race for Life.

Many of our family and friends have been affected by cancer over the years and we will be thinking of them all as we enjoy this family day out.

We would like to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK to help fund their life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. Please give what ever you can. Every penny helps. If you sponsor us online – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.
