Friends will know that I wanted to take part last year but was unable to do so, so this year I plan to make up for it by doing both the Peterborough (Wednesday 15 June 2005)
and Cambridge (Jesus Green - Sunday 03 July 2005) Race For Life events.

On Wednesday 15th June 2005, I joined over 4000 other women at Ferry Meadows Country Park, Peterborough to help raise money for Cancer Research by doing the 5km run. In total I rasied £173.04 and finished in 32.34 mins. I was overwhelmed by the number of women participating in the event. And the pink 'in memory of/in celebration of' back signs showed me just how many people are effected by cancer.

This page is for the Cambridge event held on the 03 July 2005 at Jesus Green . I've also decided to help raise more money for Cancer Research by running a 10km run later in the year in October, around Sandringham Estate.
