Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue our life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.

As many of my friends already know i am running this race in memory of my sister-in-law MARNIE HUGHES who was taken away from us in March after being diagnosed last  year with terminal cancer.

She was so brave throughout her illness and we all miss her very much. I know she would be laughing at me right now as she knew how i hated excercising but Marne i'm  training everyday for this and i hope to make you proud of me! xx
