About our charity
:
Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses.
Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

| Our personal message: |
Thank you for visiting our Race for Life fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. 2008 is Jackie & Tracey's 6th , Clare's 2nd and Jo's 1st year of taking part in Race for Life this year we are running (yes running- you read it correctly!) in memory of Tracey's uncle - Keith Kidd, who lost his battle on July 13th 2007. Many of you will be sponsoring friends and family members, so please do not feel that you have to sponsor us as well. However, what ever small amount you wish to give will be gratefully received! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us - Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, at least an extra 25% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you when you tick the Gift Aid box.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and feel free to come along to Gloucester Park, Basildon on June 15th @ 11am to cheer us along. Many thanks for your support - together we will beat cancer.
