I am running the Race for Life in Peterborough on Wednesday evening. This will be the 7th year that I will have taken part in this very important race. It's an amazing event and there's a group of us who take part most years to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
This year is more poignant than ever, as this year I am running in memory of my mum, who passed away last August from Pancreatic Cancer. It is going to be an emotional one, as I remember running it last year when she was ill in hospital suffering with cancer. I want to raise as much as possible to help all those affected by cancer. I know I have recently completed the London Marathon and alot of you very kindly donated to that, for which I thank you. I would just ask that you would kindly donate again, as even a small amount makes a difference. I appreciate your support, as always.
