About our charity
:
Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses.
Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

| Our personal message: |
It's that time of year again - Jemima and Mum are running (and walking) a 5km course at the Eden Project on 15 June. It's partly for our own fitness, but more to remember the people we still think about often, and to give us both a positive goal to work towards. Last year we raised more than £800 between us, so let's try and top that this year.
That's Mabel, our faithful mascot, by the way. She'll be keeping us on a strict training regime involving 150 fetches every day...
The small print: Donating through this site is a piece of cake - and also means that if you are a UK taxpayer, Cancer Research can claim an extra 25% at no cost to you, Just tick the Gift Aid box.
That's all you need to know! Please sponsor us right now because you know what happens... you think you'll just check your Facebook inbox or hang out the washing or do one last Twitter and before you know it, you've forgotten! Best do it now, and then we won't nag you anymore...
Comedy requests for chicken outfits and the like may also be considered for a modest premium...
Update: Thank you so much to all my Twitter buddies - you are very generous. It really does help with motivation, you know! xx
