Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses.
Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

| My personal message: |
We've done it! In the gruelling heat of Sunday July 2nd all 3 of the Murray girls - that’s Daisy, Robyn and Jill - completed the Race for Life in Durham. Over previous years we have raised a total in excess of £700 and we hoped that this year we can raise another£200. Well, we have done that too! We are currently standing at £210 of monies paid with hope of a little bit more. We are thrilled and thank everyone very much.
Thanks also to Auntie Barbara who was Robyn's running partner and managed to keep her talking so that she forgot that she was walking!
We are just working on the team strip for next year - somthing very pink comes to mind! So we will keep you posted!

Well done to Robyn and Daisy for working so hard to raise £50 through their Name the Dog / Kitten / Bear competitions! A huge thank you to the staff and pupils at Lothersdale School who gave such fantastic support.
