Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.

My very dear friend Katherine Bown was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of this year, huge shock, and as much as I can only really 'be there' for her, it doesn't seem enough. So this is a tiny way of trying to help.

Cancer has affected so many of my closest friends and relatives and I feel the Race for Life is a great way to raise some cash to help others.
