Welcome to my Race for Life Fundraising Page!

How many people do you know who have been diagnosed with, survived or died from cancer? Chances are you know at least one person who has battled or is indeed still battling this awful disease. Thanks to organisation like Cancer Research UK more and more people today can survive cancer through ever advancing treatment options. But research is expensive and can only be funded through donations.

Instead of doing the obvious, i.e. play a concert for charity I have decided to run for money instead! 5k used to be my routine run several times a week until I was forced to stop running last October due to a suspected heart condition. I have meanwhile been given the all clear to run again but of course I am in lousy shape so I will have to get back onto the treadmill as soon as I have finished writing this!

But you can fuel my training by donating! My minimum target is £500 but I would love to exceed it as this really means a lot to me. So please dig deep but every penny helps!!
