Well as I'm totally unprepared for the (10k) race in late May, I felt I couldn't ask for sponsorship on that one. But you're not off the hook that easily...

I've signed up for the Richmond Race for Life 5k on 27th June. Not only is this shorter and more manageable - she says, confidently - but it's also completely on the flat, around the Old Deer Park by the river at Richmond.  Hurrah!

I've deliberately made my target pretty conservative as I know I ask you to dig deep each year, but a few quid of sponsorship will a) make sure I do it and b) stop Cancer Research coming around with the heavies if I don't pay up.
