Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page.  I rjoined the race for the first time last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.   I am hoping that by raising money for such a good cause I will be more motivated to practice, train and get fit and not become a victim to cancer or heart disease myself.

Cancer charities are very close to my heart.  My mother died from Breast cancer when she was only 32 years old and it was a long and painfull death for her.  Since then my Grandmother and Father-in-law and a only at Christmas, a work colleague has died through cancer.  My step-mum is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer so it is fitting that I get off my large butt and try and do a bit for fiundraising.

Every little amount counts, so please done feel that you have to only sponsor for a large amount.  Little amounts count up, so whether it is £2 or £20 it is thankfully received. It is easier to sponsor me online – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.
