So many people's lives are affected by cancer...not only those who suffer but also their loved ones. I have known those who have battled and won and those who unfortunately lost or who will lose their fight for life. I was already signed up to participate in this race before I got the news of my grandfather's third and in this case fatal experience with cancer. Sadly, he is at a stage where nothing can be done and so I dedicate this to him. It is without question that I will be running for him and for all those who are fighting and will hopefully win their battle.

To those who have survived, to those who have survived others passing, to those currently fighting their own battle....I race for all of you.
