For the first time ever, Laura is going to go on a Race for Life with her mummy.
Already in her young life she has known four people who have died of cancer - her Auntie Ada, her daddy's old friends John Warner and Anne Smith and her mummy's friend Lyn Atherton. She wants to help raise money for the doctors and scientists who are trying to find a cure.
She and Debbie will be going on training runs during the Spring and Summer to make sure they can run all that way - a whole 5 km - and to make everybody proud of them. Laura has never run that far before but thinks she can run it faster than Mummy. We shall see.....
