"As you most of you know i was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. after a long hard struggle, and one lost lung later, i was finally able to get back to normal! I'm sure without the doctors, nurses and charities like cancer research's help, i may never have been able to be sitting here writing this today. I met some amazing people along the way, and unfortuantley not all of them were able to make it through to the end, but hopefully by doing our bit, we can prevent that happening to other people and their families"
