Our personal message:

Hi,

As some of you may know my taking part in this years Race For Life is quite personal for me. My mum was diagnosed with cancer last year and having seen what she went through i wanted to do something to help in the fight against cancer. 

Sadly my mum passed away on the 4th March and so im doing this for her, she knew i was taking part and i know she had hoped to be here to do it herself (if only to see me actually walking!!). My mum Sylvia was amazing, so full of life and energy and could outwalk anyone half her age! She had such a loving caring nature and always thought of others and especially animals. I miss her so much but she will always be in my heart and thoughts.

Both myself and my friends Emma & Tracey appreciate all the support you can give us and supporting Cancer Research is important to all of us <3
