WE DID IT!!!!

Ellen and I managed to run (jog) most of the way around the Hylands in just under 40 minutes.

Yes, I'm doing it again!!

Come on, grow those arms and shorten those pockets.  Let the moths fly free again. 

I realise its a potentially traumatic experience for you - handing money over!!  But spare a thought for little old me.  44 years old and on 22nd June I'll be pounding round the 5 km course at Hylands with my gorgeous 13 year old daughter Ellen, who, incidently, will probably thrash the pants off me.  How humiliating can it get?

However, it will be worth it.  Most of us have friends or relatives who have been tormented by cancer.  Whatever you can give,  it all helps in the fight.  Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.

So come on!! Help me out here.  And if you don't want to sponsor me because you don't like me or something - sponsor Ellen instead, cos she's lovely!!
