This is my 6th year I'll be running the race!!  I'm running this for friends and family.  My inspiration comes from people like John, Ted, Catherine, Dugald, Chris and Len, all dear friends I've lost. Tragically now my sweet aunt Yasuko has also lost the battle just before Christmas, so sad. And my uncle Wil is hanging on by a thread, but still surviving after nearly 5 years! Fortunately we have much better news coming from Ken who is doing sooo well, he's such a trooper but it's fantastic to see him looking so radiant! (I hope he'll live to be a 100!) And the most recent scare comes from my own brother-in-law Ger who has just had 2 successful operations (and another one planned), so keeping everything crossed for him!! But he's doing well... I'm running for ALL you guys at this race!
