Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My personal message:

So I'm going to be 13 weeks pregnant and I'm going to walk 5k for Cancer Research UK.

I think that really means you'll HAVE TO SPONSOR ME!!!

I want to raise as much money as I can for this very worthy cause, without whom I could have lost my mum and dad to cancer!

We must do everything we can to help them to continue to do their wonderful work - people are diagnosed every day, so any money raised is put to good use every day trying to help cure them.

Please dig deep.
