Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Cancer Research UK is a charity my family have supported over the past 20 years since my Father became ill in 1986. Sadly he died on June 5th 1989 and has left a big hole in our lives ever since. 

When I saw that the race for life in Edinburgh was the day before the 18th anniversary of his death I knew that we had to be there, had to take part in this event. So both my Mother and I are walking 5 kilometres round Holyrood Park in Edinburgh to raise money for this amazing charity and help prevent others from losing their loved ones to this dreadful disease, in all its forms.

The race for life is a women's only event so sadly Warren and my Brother can't join in on the day, but we will walk as if they were with us too.
