Race for Life is to help raise awareness for Cancer Research.

My sister Steph & I were going to do this on July 9th but sadly Steph has lost her fight after 3 & a half years. I will be still be doing the race with my cousin in memory of the bravest lady i have known. Steph was amazing, she was my pink princess, she loved the colour pink. She was always smiling & was really loved by everybody who had the pleasure of knowing her. Steph had a young son  Jack, 3, & i know she will live on in him.

 In 2003  Steph was given 6 months max after being diagnosed with Skin Cancer this left her wheelchair bound.She not only had herself to fight for but her 15 week old son Jack. In 2004 Steph was told she was in remission but sadly on 27th April 2006 - After seeing Stephs Oncologist, we were told Stephs Cancer had returned and had spread to her Lung, Stomach & Pelvis. No-one deserves to get cancer so this experience of doing Race for Life with people who are in the same boat will be life changing! It will certainly be a challenge! So please think about me & if you are able to, please contribute to help us raise awareness, awareness not just for people like us but for the thousands of other sufferers.

9th June 06 - I did Race for Life with my Cousin. It was an amazing experience. Jack went over the finish line with us. It took us an Hour. I know Steph would have been proud.
