Three years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and was off work for nearly a year in that time I underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy, lymph node removal and finally radiotherapy.  My family and friends supported me during this time – THANK YOU.  Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.  My daughter Rachel has taken part in the 10k race for the last 2 years, so I thought it was time that I did it. My daughters Rachel and Joanna and my friends are supporting me once again by doing the 10k race (well walk) with me, so by sponsoring us now you can help more people survive cancer.
