A number of you might be wondering why I'm doing this; one to support an organisation that helps a lot of people through saving lives; and two, I feel with your help and support, I can give back towards a worthy cause, one that has helped some of my beloved family and friends who have gone or are now affected by the deadly disease.

In preparation for the race, I climbed Snowdonia (height 1085m) during the bank holiday weekend, May 2nd, in a bid to improve fitness and stamina. I have also been doing some gruelling running (something that I'm not used to you can see!!) but hopefully, I can now make it through the finish line in Windsor on the 11th July 2010.
