So, it's 2006.  Another year, another Race For Life.   In the past 2 years, you have helped me to raise £1500+ for Cancer Research.  Thank you so much.  Let's make this year EVEN BETTER!  Pass this link on to friends and family, work colleagues and anyone else you come into contact with!

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2002.  My treatment took nearly 2 years, and I am thankfully well, and working as a teacher.  I was told that had my condition been diagnosed 2 years earlier, the likelihood was that I wouldn't be here now.  Research into defeating cancer is progressing at an amazing rate... with your support we can make this happen even more quickly!

As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue our life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.
