Hello everyone

  I know many of you have already donated to my sponsored slim in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK (visit my fundraising page and weight loss log at www.justgiving.com/roanne) and I am very grateful for that, but if you can afford anything extra I am also running Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. I am running on 3rd June at the Embankment in Nottingham at 11am, with Shelley, Maria and Sarah. I am aiming to run as much of the course as possible and have started jogging already.

**** UPDATE ***** I have now completed race for life!!! In the not too unrespectable time of 41.30 minutes. Many thanks to all those that sponsored me. If anyone else wishes to sponsor me its not too late. I have also had a kind donation of a complimentary meal for 2 at Antalya restaurant (by the corner house next to punchinello's) by the owner Mehmet Kolcak. When I am sure that all donations are in I will put all my sponsors names into a hat and whoever is pulled out will get the meal voucher. When I've got the photo's sorted I'll put those on here so you can all see the proof!

 Most people know that my Mum was really poorly recently, following surgery for what we now know was pancreatic cancer, 3 years after having had bowel cancer.  She has almost completed her chemotherapy and is doing well. She has been an inspiration to those that know her in the way that she has handled this diagnosis and her attitude to life. I just want you to know that we are all really proud of you Mum and love you loads xx
