I'm doing the Race for Life because it's 25 years since my successful treatment at Charing Cross Hospital, thanks to Cancer Research UK (formerly the Cancer Research Campaign). I'm dedicating it to the memory of my mother-in-law Beryl (15 years ago), my good friends Gill (10 years ago) and step mothers-in-law Liz (last year) and Jean (nine years ago). All were taken away too young. By sponsoring me now you can help vital research, and help more people to survive cancer.

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
