This year, Elena and I have decided to join in the Race for Life. As this is a bit too much for her to run (or walk in that matter), I will be carrying her most of the way (so apologies, I will be walking this time). I would like to thank Rika and other Incredible Ladies for inviting us to join the team and helping us along the way :)
As you might be aware, events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research’s life saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
We will be dedicating this walk to Elena's grandfather, Vladimir Stincic, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2002 and unfortunately lost the battle within only 6 months. He was always an active member of the community and would support this kind of event himself.

Bit of an update :)
Many thanks to everyone who supported us, before, on the day and afterwards. It was a bit of a wet day, but nevertheless it was nice and thank you all again! Elena loved the crowd and seeing something new so hopefully we can repeat this (minus the rain) next year :)
