My personal message:

Hi everyone

Since my cancer was diagnosed back in 1989 wow its 20 years ago this month)!!!! I cant believe its been that long... so much money has gone into Cancer Research that the treatments now available have changed beyond all recognition.and i know i wouldnt be here if it wasnt for the generous donations to Cancer Research.

Cancer is still very much a part of my life and my families as one of my sisters has discovered aswell as me she also has the faulty BRCA1 gene. Because of her this now gives me an even bigger incentive to want to find a cure..Aswell as for all the other millions of people that are still and have been affected by Cancer. Including one of my dearest friends "Shelly" who has beaten this disease and my best friend "Jacquie" who,s mum tragically lost her fight 4yrs ago. We HAVE to find a cure!!!

My friend Roseanne asked if she could run &represent me when she races and i was so touched i,d like to run with her.....Yes Roseanne You will run, not walk !!!! hee hee
