Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for Caithness General Hospital- A&E/OPD staff that are taking part in this years race for life. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. All of the staff are contributing in some form to fundraising efforts.
Although a lot of folk are doing this in celebration or memory of an individual who has been affected by cancer, we are doing this for someone YOU know.
As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue our life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.

Update 10th May We are absolutely astonished and can't quite believe that we have raised so much for Cancer Research UK. Today we have received an astounding amount and would like to convey our gratitude to all involved. This morning staff from the Shelina Spice takeaway in Thurso presented a cheque for £200. This money was collected from tips they received over a three month period. We are expecting to get a cheque for £500 from Dounreay in the near future also.

We expect to receive the money in July sometime, so this amount cannot be added to our grand total as this website closes before then. The amount has however been added to our offline total.
