We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My personal message:

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. I race for life in memory of my friend Dave Parsons who I miss and Asmah who lost her fight with Leukemia on the day of the race last year - my thoughts are with her two small children and  family on this sad anniversary. I've upped my target because it's already been achieved - thank you everyone so far!

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
