As some of you may remember I did this last year but this year my sister (Beth) & I are planning to run the whole thing, which should be worth a laugh (to anyone watching at least!).

Last year you were all very generous and helped me raise about £250 in total including off-line sponsorships which was fantastic but you probably thought it was a one-off and I wasn't going to do it again!  However even if you can spare just a £1 that would help and I would be very grateful.  Beth's friends however have no excuse as she didn't do it last year so they can dig deeper!!

Our reasons for doing this are in memory of our mum, Christine Le Marchant and my dad, Jack.  Both of them died from cancer, Mum at the age of 48 and I lost Dad when I was only 16 years old.  Sadly they never got to see their children grow up, get married and never got to meet their grandchildren, Kelan, Joshua and Megan. 

For those of you who knew my Dad, you will know that the day we will be running the Race for Life is actually his birthday which to me seems very fitting to his memory for me to do this race.

We are running to try and help beat this horrible disease that steals people's lives so please help us by donating any small amounts (or large!) that you can spare.
