We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My personal message:

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life 2009 fundraising page. Since I ran the initial Silverstone RfL in 2006, Mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy. There are now no more treatment options left and the disease will take its course. This cause becomes ever more personal for me, so please sponsor me now and help Cancer Research UK in their work!
