That's my aim for 'Race for Life'.  Last time I ran was a 10K fun run about 23 years ago and I walked most of that (and it wasn't fun either!)  Those who know me, know that I don't even run for a bus (no point around here - it only makes them accelerate).

Anyway, this time I'm aiming to run most of the 5km (with a few little teeny walking breaks in between).

Race for Life raises money for  life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.

Kaj tio estas mia celo kurante la 'Kuru por la Vivo'.  La pasintan fojon mi kuris estis 10 kilometra 'amuzkurado' antaŭ 23 jaroj kaj mi plejparte marŝis tion (kaj ne estis amuza).  Tiuj kiuj min konas scias ke mi eĉ ne kuras por trafi aŭtobuson (ne valoras la penon ĉi tie - tio nur instigas la ŝoforojn plirapidiĝi.)

Nu, ĉi-foje mi intencas kuri la plejparton da la 5km kurejo (kun kelkaj etaj marŝantaj paŭzoj inter kurado).

Kuru por la Vivo celas enkasigi monon por vivsavanta esploradoj pri la preventado, duracado kaj sanigado de ĉiuaj kanceroj.

Do, se estas por vi ebla, bonvole kontribuu iom mi petas!  Vi povas simple, rapide kaj tute sekure mondoni per tiu ĉi retejo kaj se vi estas impoŝtpaganto en Britio, plua 28% da redonita impoŝto estos aldonita al via donacsumo (sen ia kosto al vi).
